Admiring the artwork in a favorite board book, the page reads "Some [daddies] hold you snug and tight." July 16
Burrowed into Daddy's side, no place safer! Also July 16
Cora, wearing a sleeper that my Grammy made for one of my sisters way back when. July 21
My future-farmgirl, in her bibs, on her cows, under her barn-play-thing. Also July 21
This weekend the streets of Downtown Ann Arbor played host to the Annual Ann Arbor Art Fair. We went on Friday to peruse the venue and see what there was to see. Aside from lots of ceramic pottery, glass sculpture, wooden images, jewelry and booth after booth of fantastic to bizarre paintings, we came across a few things that held our interest for more than a few minutes.
A flying pig for sale at the said fair; it amused me.
This is the mobile we purchased at the art fair. We came home and google told us that it was, incidentally, a good day to buy a mobile. This, and the Art Fair prompted a wonderful teaching opportunity for John as I went through a list of great American artists that he wasn't aware of.
