So, I took off work on Friday (my advisors told me to take time off this summer) and we went to a state recreation area and spent the night.
The spoils from our hike (in addition to the ones eaten during the hike).

What is a camping trip without a camp fire?
Dickens looking intently at the others campers and their horses. Most of the time he was barking his head off at the horses, or at least looking intently like this.
All of us had a great time, including the little one.
Just in case you're wondering, those "spoils" from our hike are wild black raspberries.
