Holiday Going Ons

A belated Merry Christmas to all! This holiday season has been exciting and grand! My family all came out to Provo, which was a fun experience. We had a lot of fun putting together a gift for the nieces and nephews. We got them a set of Mr. McGroovy's Box Rivets, and not wanting them to be unappreciated, we decided to construct and example of the fun things they can produce. The result:

Three refrigerator boxes later, There is a playhouse for the kids.

Several hours later:

It's been painted in a quaint manner.

Of course, in a matter of days, the new crayons were put to good use on every reachable surface, and over the door archway it reads "Clud Howse." We are thrilled that the kids have enjoyed it thus far!

That was one of the more memorable parts of our Christmas this year.

New Years Eve we went to work in the kitchen and produced over 100 homemade raviolis. It is nice to have raviolis, and if you check the packages in the stores, even the meat ones have cheese in them, so in order to prevent some unpleasant side effects we make our own. We shouldn't have to repeat the efforts now for a couple of months!

School starts again tomorrow, and we are both excited to be finishing up our Bachelor's Degrees. John's Grad school applications are being turned in, and we are anxiously awaiting replies. We hope everyone has had a terrific holiday season, and that this new year can bring hope and happiness to all!
