An update from us! It is like an early Christmas present.
We are all moved into our new place and just finished painting the stairwell (we painted the rest of the house before we moved in). I have survived another semester of school and research and ready for a short break to relax and enjoy life. Breanna is trying to keep up with our little girl, who seems to be constantly figuring out new things, like this:
Helping decorate the tree
Getting teeth to chew with (she now has 4 teeth, and more coming in)
Yummy food.
Her new best friend (or toy in her mind)
The new toy we found near the dumpster
Going after the dog dish and learning to pull herself up
Learning to move while up (she stood up using the black step ladder on the left).
We have had a very busy month and are grateful for the holidays that we have to relax and be together as a family. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Love this! I wish I had some of these pictures when I was doing the calendar. These are fun photos of Cora and show her personality more. Dickens seems very patient with her. Now the question is, if Cora were relaxing on Dickens' back there in front of the window, and a squirrel ran by, would Dickens:
ReplyDeleteA. Sit quietly, not wanting to disturb Cora
B. Hold still, mindful of his companion, but bark like crazy
C. Jump up and dump Cora to the ground and trample her while making a vigorous effort to get to the squirrel through the window. ?
He'll bark agitatedly and as soon as Cora gives him the room to maneuver without dumping her on the floor, he bolts. He knows that if he upsets her, he'll get in serious trouble!
